Google Developer Group (GDG) Columbia meets monthly at various venues around the Midlands area. What is a GDG? Run by passionate individuals in the developer community, GDG is a place to learn about Google related technologies and tools for developers. A place to see what local companies and developers are doing with these technologies. Focused on developers and educational technical content, we are a place to meet cool and smart people in tech :) Our meetings will always be open to the general public.
Disclaimer: GDG Columbia is an independent group; our activities and the opinions expressed here should in no way be linked to Google, the corporation. For more information go to developers.google.com.
From Google's Developer site: When you join a GDG, you’ll have the opportunity to meet local developers with similar interests in technology, attend talks on a wide range of technical topics, and learn new skills through hands-on workshops. GDG prides itself on being an inclusive environment. Everyone and anyone interested in tech - from beginner developers to experienced professionals - are welcome to join.
DevFests are community-led, developer events hosted by GDG chapters around the globe focused on community building and learning about Google’s technologies.
